Terms of Service
The purpose of these Terms is to set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and of users in relation to the internet services provided on the PILLEDAY online site (the “Mall”) operated by PILLEDAY Inc. (the “Company”).
Article 1 (Purpose and Definitions)
“Mall” means the virtual place of business established by the Company, using information and communications facilities, so that goods or services can be traded and provided to users. “User” means a person who accesses the “Mall” and receives the services provided by the Company under these Terms.
Article 2 (Publication and Amendment of the Terms)
The Company posts the contents of these Terms, together with its trade name, representative, place of business, business registration number, mail-order business registration number and contact details, on the initial screen so that users can find them easily. The Company may amend these Terms within a scope that does not violate relevant laws such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and when it does so it states the effective date and the reason for the amendment and gives notice from 7 days before the effective date (30 days in advance for changes unfavorable to users).
Article 3 (Provision and Change of Services)
The Company provides information on goods or services, concludes purchase agreements and delivers the goods for which purchase agreements have been concluded. Where goods are out of stock or their specifications change, the Company may change what will be provided under agreements concluded in the future, and in that case it posts the details of and the reasons for the change.
Article 4 (Purchase Application and Formation of the Agreement)
Users apply to purchase by searching for and selecting goods on the “Mall,” entering recipient information, confirming the Terms as well as costs such as order withdrawal and shipping fees, and selecting a payment method. The Company may decline a purchase application in cases such as false entries, or the purchase by a minor of goods restricted under the Juvenile Protection Act.
Article 5 (Payment Methods and Delivery)
Payment for goods may be made by bank transfer, card payment, deposit without a bankbook or any other method offered by the Company. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within a reasonable period, counted in business days, from the date of the order, and the delivery method, cost and time are stated in the Shopping Guide.
Article 6 (Order Withdrawal and Its Effects)
A user may withdraw an order within 7 days from the day of receiving the written document confirming the contract terms. Order withdrawal may be restricted, however, where food has been opened or consumed, where goods are lost or damaged for a reason attributable to the user, or where the value of the goods has decreased significantly. Where the goods differ from their labeling, advertising or the contract terms, an order may be withdrawn within 3 months from the date of supply and within 30 days from the day the user became aware of it. The Company issues a refund within 3 business days after the goods are returned.
Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Company protects the personal information of users in accordance with relevant laws, and matters relating to its collection, use and provision follow the Privacy Policy.
Article 8 (Obligations of the Company and of Users)
The Company complies with the law and with these Terms and works to provide its services continuously and reliably. Users must not register false information, misappropriate the information of others or interfere with the operations of the Company.
Article 9 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
The Company promptly handles legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users. Matters not specified in these Terms follow relevant laws and commercial practice, and any lawsuit concerning a dispute between the Company and a user follows the procedures prescribed by relevant laws (the laws of the Republic of Korea apply).
